# Blake T. Ostler

> Blake T. Ostler is a philosopher and theologian of Latter-day Saint thought and a Salt Lake City attorney. He is the author of the four-volume *Exploring Mormon Thought* (Kofford Books, 2001–2020). This site collects 146 of his works — books, journal articles, book reviews, conference papers, and interviews, 1981–2026 — and most are free to read or hear.

His work applies analytic philosophy of religion to Latter-day Saint theology: the attributes of God, divine foreknowledge and free will, grace and agency, atonement, deification, the problem of evil, and a sustained critique of classical theism. He has published in *Religious Studies* (Oxford), the *International Journal for the Philosophy of Religion*, *Element*, *Dialogue*, *Sunstone*, *BYU Studies*, the *FARMS Review*, and *Interpreter*.
